Fleet round up section

Day 71 Although once again PRB has lost a chunk from its lead on 2nd and 3rd place, Michel Desjoyeaux is once again up to double digit speeds.  Last report had him at 11.3 knots.

Kingfisher gained 66 miles in 24 hours.  Ellen Macarthur still has a speed advantage sailing at 11.1 knots.

Marc Thiercelin sailing Active Wear was the big gainer making up 170 miles on PRB.  Thiercelin's speed was 12.3 knots.

Sill in 4th is the fastest at 15.7 knots.

Mike Golding will become the 2nd consecutive British skipper to round Cape Horn when he sails Group 4 around the landmark today.

What does it all mean

With PRB once again making double digits, it could be Desjoyeaux's time to benefit from the rubber and affect and finally make some gains.
