Today's Sailing NewsMatch Racing: Bermuda Gold CupThe quarterfinals will be sailed today most likely without Russell Coutts. He paid a visit to a hospital and was eventually diagnosed with torn chest muscles. He sustained the injury in Wednesday's heavy air conditions. It is not clear whether his team will sail without him. The quarterfinal pairings are as follows: Peter Gilmour vs. Ed Baird One of the interesting aspects of this regatta is the crew alignment. With a heavy dose of America's Cup the crew lists tell who is sailing for which group. Coutts has his typical trio of
Butterworth, Fluery and Daubney. On the other Swiss Challenge
crew skippered by Murray Jones is Marco Constant a winning Whitbread
sailor. Peter Gilmour has 2 Japanese sailors and recent Olympic medallist
Charlie Mckee who is from Seattle home of the One World
Challenge. Ed Baird has a different crew with young sailors
