  Muskegon Lake Cat Fight

Muskegon Lake will be host to the Great Lakes Cat Fight 26-27 August.  This even will be a gathering of beach type cats such as Prindles, Hobies, Nacras etc. 

The fleet of catamarans will use the beach at Muskegon State Park as a staging and camping area.  Racing will be held on Lake Michigan.

The following types of beach cats are expected in attendance:  Inter 20, Nacra 6.0, Tornado, Nacra 5.8, Hobie 16& 18, Prindle 16 and more.

The Commodore's Cup fleet on the start line.

 Today's Sailing News 

Larry Ellison is officially in the America's Cup.  Ellison's team is Oracle Racing.  Oracle is the software company that Ellison owns.  The team's intitial personnel combine elements of Ellison's Sayonara maxi boat team, the America One team which Ellision has bought the physical assets of and also America True and Young America.

October 2000 should see the team on the water in New  Zealand in serious training mode for the America's Cup.
