Queens Cup Finish Report

June 26 1999

Approximately 50 boats have finished the Queens Cup.   The first boats finished around 0500.  The fleet experienced consistent but light breezes.  Many of the boats sailed the race under asymetrical spinnakers.  10 miles off the shore winds came off the shore.  Boats beat to the finish.

As of 1300 eastern boats are still finishing.   Official time of the first finish was 0310. Deep Powder a CM 60 took line honors.   Dockside rumor has either Trader or Bacchant claiming the overall prize.
