What about boats that did not sell?
Any boats that did not sell at auction are now available from the Torresen Marine brokerage department. For more information or to make an offer contact Peter Blacklock by phone at 231-759-8596 or by email.
What was on the auction block?:
We had 13 boats available from 21 to 28 feet in length. Manufacturers included: Catalina, Ranger, Grampian, Irwin, Ericson, Hunter, Luna, Islander, Hughes and Coronado.
How to purchase:
Once the boats are placed on eBay, the only way to make an offer on the boats is online using the eBay bidding process. The auction is scheduled to end on May 1, 2006.
Inspection:
We encourage all bidders to inspect the boats personally or arrange for their agent to inspect boats. Inspection should be made prior to
bidding as bids are non-retractable. Boats are available for inspection at 3003 Lake Shore Drive in Muskegon, Michigan by appointment.
We will also hold an open viewing events on April 29 and 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 30: p.m.
Other important considerations:
Auction boats are sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied, nor any warranty for fitness of purpose and seaworthiness. All potential buyers should personally inspect, or obtain an inspection by their agent, before making an offer or bidding on this boat. Full purchase price is due within three days following the end of the
auction. The customer is fully responsible for removal of purchased
boats, trailers and cradles from the Torresen Marine, Inc. property within tens days of the
auction end. The auction price does not include any launch fees,
materials, equipment or labor that may be necessary to transport
boats from the property. It is the obligation of the purchaser to
inspect and provide suitable trailers, cradles and other equipment
that may be needed to remove the boat.
The purchaser of any boat, cradle or other equipment left on site ten days after the end
of the auction shall be subject to the fees and conditions of the
standard Torresen Marine storage agreement. Questions about the provisions of the storage agreement should be directed to Larry Larsen or Kathleen Torresen.
