2001 Queens Cup 
South Shore Yacht Club- Milwaukee to Muskegon

The 2001 Queens Cup was a pleasant sail for all concerned.  Winds were on the beam making for fast and pleasant sailing. Winds were in the 10-15 knot range from the South and South West. Themulti hull Nice Pair was 1st to finish in a time of 5H 23M 33 S.  The overall winner was Jupiter a Hinckley 35 from the smallest of the PHRF classes.  This classic Sparkman and Stephens design has not been produced since 1975.  The other top placers were also smaller boats as the steady breeze did not allow the larger boats to separate.
