1999 Key West Race Week Wednesday Forecast

Day 3 of Race Week should see more moderate winds.  Forecasts call for 10 knot easterly winds.  Current weather buoy reports show NE wind @ 11 knots, with peak readings of 13 knots.  Since 0300 weather buoys have shown 11 knots or more wind.  The Key West reporting station showed 7 knot NNE winds.  So, it looks like there may be some more wind than the fleet has had the first two days.   The expectation of more wind is shown as  by tomorrow the call is for winds for SE @ 15 knots.  The temperature will peak in the 80's.
