Key West Race week will conclude with the breeze on. Forecasted are breezes out of the southeast with strength from 20 to 25 knots. Waves of 5 to 8 feet are expected to accompany this higher winds. Along with this will be partly cloudy skies, and an occasional isolated shower.
Weather buoys already show ESE winds of 20 knots with one gust of 32 knots and more consistent gusts of 26 knots. Already, it looks like actual wind strengths will be a steady 20 knots + by the time the final races start.
