Eligibility The regatta is open to all One-design and PHRF rated  yachts as defined by their Class Rules or  PHRF requirements. Competitors must meet all ownership, class membership requirements, and must have paid all event fees before becoming official competitors. Entries  Eligible boats may be entered by completing registration with the organizing authority and payment of the entry fee. The entry form must be received along with the fee by Saturday July 29th, 2006.  Acceptance of late entries will be at the discretion of the organizing authority. Entry fee is $50.00 which includes regatta fee and limited docking. Docking Docking and trailer storage will be tightly monitored. The slips and parking lot are under heavy use this time of year. Boats will be able to tie up along the long finger piers that service the individual slips and on the outside dock of Muskegon Yacht Club. Trailer storage will be on the peninsula at Torresen Marine. Schedule Friday, July 28 0800 - 2200 hrs Launching 1500 - 2000 hrs Registration Saturday, July 29 0800 - 0930 hrs Launching and registration 1000 hrs Competitor Meeting 1100 hrs Warning Race 1 Races 2, 3, and 4 to follow Saturday afternoon cookout on the Yacht Club lawn. Pool is open. Bring your kids. Sunday, July 30 1030 hrs  Warning Race 5 Race 6 to follow Sunday afternoon cookout with pool open. Bring your kids to this one. Sailing Instructions Available at registration. Courses Racing will be on windward/leeward courses as specified by the Sailing Instructions. Course length will be based on sailing conditions. Racing will be on the waters of Muskegon Lake. Muskegon Yacht Club is located at 3198 Edgewater Street on the Southwest side of Muskegon Lake. The Yacht Club phone number is 231-755-1414. Penalty System The 360 degree Turn Penalty, (RRS 44.2) will apply. Scoring The Low Point scoring system, RRS Appendix A4, will apply, modified so that each boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores. Six (6) races are scheduled, of which one (1) race shall be completed to constitute a series. Awards Trophies will be big and fun.
