Short Tack: UK Ultra

Sailmakers are always pushing for an edge in building and
marketing sails. Often they use technology to make better
and faster sails.
UK Ultra is a step beyond UK's well known Tape Drive sails.
The difference is: the sail skin and load path structure
as one integral product. This allows sailmakers to use the
minimum amount of materials in different areas of the sail.
The sail is bonded with adhesive that is ultrasonically
activated.
This UK product will compete with North 3DL sails which are
utilized by all America's Cup teams.
