Short Tack: Finn All Star

This weekend Auckland New Zealand, AKA the City of Sails,
will be transformed into the home of an all star sailing
regatta. Currently Auckland has 100's of pro sailors around
due to the Volvo Ocean Race Stop Over and America's Cup
training.

New Zealand Finn class Cameron Dunn has taken advantage of
this and arranged an all star regatta of VOR and AC sailor
with Finn backgrounds.

Perhaps the most intriguing story line will be the match up
of past NZL AC skipper and 1984 Finn Gold Medallist Russell
Coutts and current NZL AC skipper Dean Barker who campaigned
a Finn in the 1996 Olympic cycle.

Other Olympic Medallists who will compete are: Craig Monk,
Peter Holmberg, Brian Ledbetter, Jochen Schueman, and
Freddie Loof. World Champions include: Sebastian Godefroit
and Stig Westergaard.

Sailors such as Glenn Bourke and Jez Fanstone are reduced to
being just 'notables' in this lineup.
