Short Tack: 2002 Calendar Changes

The 2002 Great Lake Sailing Calendar has been released.
It is online at http://www.torresen.com/calendar/c1.htm.
From time to time changes are made. To date there have
been three, listed below.
Addition:
May 4-5 JY 15 Regatta University of Michigan Sailing Club
Change:
The Muskegon County Air Fair will be July 13-14 rather than
19-21 August as listed on the Printed Version of the Calendar.
Deletion:
The Racine in the Water Boat Show scheduled from 15-18 August
has been cancelled.

Short Tack: Grand Rapids Boat Show

Next on the boat show calendar for Torresen Marine will be
the Grand Rapids Boat the February 12-17 at the Grand
Center.
Hours for the show are as follows: 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00 Am to 9:30 PM on Friday,
10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and 11:00 to 6:00 PM on
Sunday.
Tuesday is Sailors Delight Night. That night there's also
a Boaters Reception from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Noted sailor and
commentator Gary Jobson will appear Saturday.

This week we feature Lakota a Nelson Marek 2 tonner from the
days of IOR racing. Lakota is in above average condition
for this type of boat, has been upgraded and has good sails.
