Voting for the Torresen Sailing Site Sailors of the Year has
been underway for one week at http://www.torresen.com/soty

Vendee Globe winner Michel Desjoyeaux retains his lead in
the mend voting. Grant Dalton and Robert Scheidt are tied
for 2nd. Ellen Macarthur has taken the lead in the female
voting.

Short Tack: The Race # 2

The no limits dash around the world that is The Race will
once again be held in February of 2004. From that point on
The Race will be sailed every 4 years. This date avoids
conflicts with other sailing majors such as the America's
Cup, Vendee Globe etc.

The course will again be a non stop circumnavigation with no
limits on boat length or type.
