'Chasseur' is an extremely well equipped and detailed
Nonsuch 33. Her rig is the typical Nonsuch cat ketch
configuration.
Where 'Chasseur' differs is in the details. Several pages
list gobs of equipment. Just a few highlights are: pad eyes
for safety harnesses, 3 burner stove with oven, Moose hide
on dodger grab rails and a Racor Fuel Filter.

Short Tack: Oracle Racing Keel Failure # 2
Available on line at:
http://www.torresen.com/atwos/2001/no/1114/st.htm
A little under a day from when Oracle Racing's IACC sloop
USA 61 lost her keel, sistership USA 49 lost her keel while
sailing in New Zealand.
Once again New Zealand native Chris Dickson was at the helm.
USA 49 was sailing in 10-15 knot winds indicative of
generally moderate conditions.
The boat was towed to a sheltered bay on a nearby island and
salvage operations will continue.
This is the latest accident for America's Cup teams in
training. One World and Team New Zealand have suffered
dismastings.
