Short Tack: North Sails Summer Series

A new regatta will be hosted by Muskegon Yacht Club on
2 of the next 3 weekends. July 14-15 both Melges 24's
and Mumm 30's will race. On July 27-28 just the
Mumm 30's will sail.
Nine Melges 24's are entered. They include Detroit
NOOD winner Snow Pile Express, Flying Toaster 2nd at
the Chicago NOOD and Hot Tuna which was 4th at the
Detroit NOODs and 3rd at the Chicago event.
For the 1st weekend of Mumm 30 competition there are
7 entries. Fuzzy Logic the Chicago NOOD winner will
sail along with home town entry Asylum 2nd at the Detroit
NOOD, 3rd at Chicago NOOD. Another hometown boat,
Carumba will make it's class debut.
The weekend of racing counts for both classes season
championship. Racing will be held on either Lake
Michigan or Muskegon Lake weather dependant.

"Delilah" was a good boat when new, and her owners have not
failed to improve upon her. Updates include: roller furling,
carbon fiber spinnaker pole, new rudder bearings, KVH
instruments, auto pilot and a 3DL Mainsail.
"Delilah" can fill the role of racer cruiser. The 3DL
main for the racing side, the bow roller for the anchor
on the cruising side.
"Delilah" can be inspected at Torresen Marine.
