Nissan Marine has introduced a pair of 4 stroke outboards that are of
interest to sailors. One is a 6 HP model, the other 18 HP.
The 6 HP is ideal for powering dinghies and tenders. It uses as
little as a half gallon of fuel per hour at full throttle! Other
features include an external fuel tank and forward-neutral-reverse
gear shift.
The 18 HP can be used as auxiliary power on a variety of sailboats.
The engine has an automatic choke and compression release making pull
cord starting easier. This engine is configured with 2 cylinders.
An external oil filter means you don't have to mix oil with gas.
