The murder of Sir Peter Blake was a huge story in sailing.
Front page stuff in his native New Zealand, and articles in
the British press, the NY Times and Washington Post.

The story also was of interest to web surfers world wide.
According to the search engine Google Peter Blake was the
5th fastest gaining search query for the week ending
December 11.

Short Tack: Cape Dory's sail to Muskegon

The Lake Michigan Cape Dory Association has selected
Muskegon as the location for it's 2002 Rendezvous which will
occur August 2-4. Last year the location was the opposite
shore in Sheboygan WI.

Although no longer made Cape Dory produced the 18 foot
Alberg designed Typhoon, and other full keel cruisers up to
45 feet. This event with the classy looking Cape Dories
should liven up Muskegon next August.
