Team Racing Final 4
With the final races completed for the Gold Fleet Rotation #2 the
final standings are as follows:
1. Hobart/Wm. Smith
2. Yale
3. Harvard
4. USC
5. Georgetown
6. Dartmouth
7. St. Mary’s
8. Hawaii
The top four teams (Hobart, Yale, Harvard, and USC) will advance on to compete in a single round robin to determine the 2005 ICSA/Layline
Team Racing Champion.
ESPN’s camera crews are on site and have installed cameras and
microphones on the boats to try and give the fans of college sailing a first-hand view into excitement and intensity of team racing
competition. The footage will be assembled into a half hour program
set to air on ESPN U at a later date.
Winds are currently at 11.3 kts and out of the SE, current temperature is 85 F. Today’s forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies and a high of 95 F. Looks like it will be another great day for sailing!
