Rules:
This regatta will be governed by the IYRU Rules, the prescriptions of US Sailing, and the rules of the International J/24 Class Association (except as modified by the Sailing Instructions).
Eligibility:
This regatta is open to all J/24's as defined by the IJCA. Competitors must meet all ownership, class membership, and yacht measurement requirements, and must have paid all event fees before becoming official competitors.
Awards:
Awards will be provided by Patagonia and MYC J/24 Fleet 150. They will be given to the helmsperson of the top ten, and the crew of the top five official competitors.
Courses:
Racing will be on windward / leeward courses as specified by the Sailing Instructions. Course length will be based on sailing conditions. Racing will be on the waters of Muskegon Lake.
Scoring:
The Low Point Scoring System, Appendix 5.2 of the IYRR will apply, except that all races will be scored. Five races are scheduled.
Accommodations:
Rooms at the Orchard Inn are available at a special rate of $48.00 per night for double occupancy rooms (make reservations prior to May 10, ask for Mary Jane, and mention MYC J/24 regatta).

Launching and Parking:
Boats will be expected to launch Friday due to limited dry sail space. There will be protected dockage available, the cost of which is covered by your entry fee. Trailers will be stored at Torresen Marine for the weekend. The MYC parking lot is reserved for MYC members only. Guest parking is in the street or at Torresen Marine. Please make sure crew members are aware of these parking rules as any vehicle in the MYC lot without a parking sticker may be towed.
To expedite departure after races on Sunday, there will also be a hoist available at Torresen Marine.
Directions:
From the South:
US 31 north to Bus. 31 (Seaway Dr.) to west bound Norton Ave. (look for Meijer). Continue as Norton becomes Lincoln and curves to the right. Turn left when Lincoln ends at Lake Shore Dr. Proceed for ~1 mile, veer right onto Edgewater. MYC is on the right.
From the East:
I-96 becomes Bus. 31 (Seaway Dr.) to west bound Norton Ave. (look for Meijer). Continue as Norton becomes Lincoln and curves to the right. Turn left when Lincoln ends at Lake Shore Dr. Proceed for ~1 mile, veer right onto Edgewater. MYC is on the right.
From the North:
US 31 south to west bound Laketon Ave. This becomes Lakeshore Dr., veer right onto Edgewater. MYC is on the right.

Each entry must be submitted on this form or on a standard J/24 Entry Form. Entries must be accompanied by a check in the amount of $55.00 for US Sailing members ($60.00 for non-members), payable to "J/24 Fleet 150." Entries received after May 11 must include an additional late fee of $20.00. Entry fees will be refunded if cancellation is made prior to May 15.

A shrimp dinner will be served Saturday evening starting at 6:00 pm and at 8:00 pm. This dinner is sponsored by the MYC Laser fleet. Call the Muskegon Yacht Club for reservations (231.755.1414). The banquet room upstairs is reserved for the regatta participants, and door prizes will be given away during this dinner.
