It is a popular fallacy among sailors that you need to know the
rules. What you do need to know is your rights and obligations on
the water. The rules you can always look up afterward. The
Rules in Practice looks at key situations that repeatedly occur on the
race course including summaries of what you can and cannot do. Armed
with this information you will have the confidence to exploit your rights
to the fullest both on the water and in the protest room.
This latest edition is
completely revised to cover the latest rule changes.
