New for 2000: Forespar Vise Cleat

A common and troublesome situation is a sheet or halyard override on
a winch. Another tough problem can be a lack of winches during a
complex maneuver.

Forespar has created a simple and elegant fix for these situations.
They call it the vise cleat. It's essentially a modified and grown
up vise grip. Material is aluminum with the jaws anodized. The Vise
Cleat works with lines up to 5/8" in diameter.

Just dial the locking jaws in and the load comes off the line. You
can free your sheet line, or complete the jibe. Especially when
sailing short handed or at night, the Vise Cleat will simplify many
situations.

If you wish to have a fully equipped boat, pick up a Vise Cleat from
the Torresen Marine ships store and drop it in your tool selection.
You'll gain a tool that can serve as the proverbial 3rd hand at a
crucial time.
