Farr 40 Worlds- Winner is Barking Mad !
    This 4 day, 8 race series concluded.
The Venue was Miami FLA, USA.
    The winning Farr 40 was Barking Mad sailed
by Jim Richardson. Barking Mad won only a single race,
but sailed consistantly finishing no lower than 7th.
This was essential in this competivie fleet. Also,
competitors were not allowed a throwout.
    Second was John Calver Jones' Southern Star
with 44 points. Southern Star won the final 2 races,
but also posted a 10th and an 11th.
    The final podium postion was taken by Wired
sailed by Steve and Helga Garland. Wired finished
with 47 points.
    Why is the winner Barking Mad. According to
her owner it is a phrase he heard in England.
