Marc Thiercelin skipper of the dismasted Open 60 Somewhere will not need assistance from Fila. Thiercelin will make a jury rig and will set course of Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands. He will attempt to replace his mast and continue racing Around Alone. The best scenario is that a mast from Mike Goldings Group 4 could reach the Falklands and be fitted. However, there is no certainty that this mast would fit Somewhere. Also, it is a very open question how the mast would get to the Falklands. If these obstacles can be overcome, Somewhere could sail to Punta Del Este and start Leg 4. Unlike Legs 2 & 3 there is no arrival deadline for Leg 4.
