3 hours and 6 minutes after 2nd place PRB came fellow French yacht Somewhere. Somewhere's official leg time was: 35 days 00 hours 41 minutes 10 seconds. A dissapointed Marc Thiercelin docked without his shore crew, and had no comment on the leg. Of course, Somewhere led much of the leg, eventually to succumbing to rips in both main and genoa. This situation was driven home as Somewhere crossed the finish line her mainsail ripped and is now totalled.
