For the second day in a row the remaining 4 Around Alone racers are struggling to complete the final 3% of the Around Alone course. Speeds are slow and expected to remain that way.
Fleet Round Up:
Balance Bar is 371 miles from the finish meaning Brad Van Liew made only 58 miles in the last 24 hours. Balance Bar continues to struggle sailing at 2.3 knots towards the finish.
www.no-barriers.com is 433 miles from Charleston. Neal Petersen reports on the effects of light air: "With 463nm to go, drifting at 2-3 knots, I can't even begin to give an ETA." Neal's speed is 1.2 knots slowest in the fleet.
Shuten Dojhi II shows 651 miles from a finish which is estimated to occur next Tuesday.
Paladin 2 is 844 miles from the finish. Paladin's boat speed of 2.8 knots is the fastest in the fleet. Paladin's ETA is next Wednesday.
