These images show winter views of the Torresen Marine, Inc facility and the surrounding Muskegon Lake area near Lake Michigan. The winter time is generally not the time sailors "live for", but even in the middle of winter when we are covered with snow and ice, Torresen Marine, Inc. remains active. We are busy preparing boats for the next sailing season, updating equipment, training employees and helping sailors in warmer climates around the world.

Ice boating on Muskegon Lake is a fast and exciting version of sailing to span the time between fall and spring.

About this picture: One of Torresen Marine's work boats plows through December ice on Muskegon Lake. The boat is pulling a section of floating dock from the Muskegon Yacht Club. The dock section will be hauled out of the water at Torresen Marine's facility for seasonal repair and put back in place for the spring sailing season.
